Looking at it from a historic perspective, human evolution did not occur gradually and slowly but  abruptly and was forced upon humankind by natural catastrophes, disasters and diseases . Therefore, to see today’s global financial, socio-economic and ecological crisis merely through the lens of markets correcting themselves or ‘catching a few thieves’ would be like the bird ostrich sticking his head into the sand and hoping that, when he resurfaces, he can continue with ‘business as usual’.

And this has very little to do with money or finances but a lot with how we see and understand the bigger picture of cosmic evolution and us as an integral part of it. The Universe is a living organic entity with the human race inextricably intertwined and subject to its natural cycle of transformation and evolution meaning: birth – life – suffering – death – rebirth, etc.
